Baseball & Softball Leagues

Baseball Information for Various Ages

The purpose of our rec baseball program is to provide an enjoyable and inclusive environment for individuals of various ages and skill levels to engage in the sport of baseball. The focus of the Green Brook Baseball Club’s rec baseball program is on promoting physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our program aims to offer a fun and supportive setting where players can develop their baseball skills, build camaraderie with teammates, and foster a love for the game. Unlike more competitive travel and club leagues, rec baseball prioritizes participation and enjoyment, making it accessible to a wider range of players. Overall, our goal is to create a positive and inclusive experience that encourages individuals to stay active, develop a sense of community, and appreciate the fundamental aspects of baseball.

Our rec program is divided into different divisions (T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Hybrid, Minors, and Majors) based on grade and skill level. In order to maintain the proper level of competition in each division, and to allow developing players to benefit from playing with more experienced players, all players are required to play only in their proper and assigned division, except where a safety concern dictates playing in a lower division.

All leagues play at least one game per week on pre-designated days. Player's eligible division is determined by the player's grade.  Keep in mind, players can be placed in a different level based on skills plus number of years in the program.  As you will notice, ages overlap divisions.

Please see the descriptions below for additional information on each level our league offers.
