Spring League Information for Various Ages
The baseball program is divided into leagues based on ages for the kids. In order to maintain the proper level of competition in each league and to allow developing players to benefit from playing with more experienced players, all players are required to play only in their proper and assigned league, except where a safety concern dictates playing in a lower division.  All leagues play at least 1 games per week on pre-designated days.  Player's eligible age is determined by the players age as of May 1st through April 30th of the following year. For example, if your son or daughter is 8 and turns 9 on May 20th, they will be placed in the 8 year old level of baseball evaluations.   Keep in mind, children can be placed in different baseball/softball levels based on skills plus number of years in the program.  As you will notice, ages overlap leagues to assist on the level.

The divisions are as follows:
TBall (for boys and girls) 4-6 year old
This is an instructional, non-competitive league for boys and girls.  Coaches concentrate on teaching basic baseball rules and skills.  Teams are formed geographically.  A soft core baseball is used for safety.  No substitution and full roster batting are used, and players are able to try many field positions.  A batting tee is used at the beginning of the season, and coaches transition players to hitting a soft pitch.  
 
Coach Pitch Baseball (for boys and girls) - 6-7 years old
This instructional league where Tee Ball left off.  Players receive on-field instruction in batting, fielding, sliding, game rules, safety, and good sportsmanship.  A softer core softball is used, no substitution and full roster batting are used, and players are able to try many field positions. 
 

 

AA League (Kid Pitch & Coach Pitch) Baseball (for boys and girls) - 7-8 years old
Players receive on-field instruction in batting, fielding, sliding, game rules, safety, and good sportsmanship.   A softer core baseball is used, no substitution and full roster batting are used, and players are able to try many field positions. There are some innings of coach pitch and some innings of kid pitch. This semi-competitive league has st an exciting end-of-season playoff in which all teams participate.


BASEBALL Minor LEAGUES (for boys and girls) 8-10 years old
This competitive league has standings maintained, and an exciting end-of-season playoff in which all teams participate.  Teams are selected in a draft.  Players may expect to focus on specific playing positions and to learn more advanced skills. Players receive on-field instruction in batting, fielding, sliding, game rules, safety, and good sportsmanship.  The age groups for these leagues is between 9-10 years of age.
 
BASEBALL Major LEAGUES (for boys and girls) 10-12 years old
This competitive league has standings maintained, and an exciting end-of-season playoff in which all teams participate.  Teams are selected in a draft.  Players may expect to focus on specific playing positions and to learn more advanced skills. Players receive on-field instruction in batting, fielding, sliding, game rules, safety, and good sportsmanship.  The age groups for these leagues is between 11-12 years of age.
 
BASEBALL Junior and Senior LEAGUES (for boys and girls) 13-15 years old
This competitive league has standings maintained, and an exciting end-of-season playoff in which all teams participate.  Teams are selected in a draft.  (Freshman players who make the high school freshman team will be distributed evenly among the teams.) Players may expect to focus on specific playing positions and to learn more advanced skills.  There will be very strict pitching limitations on Middle School and Freshman pitchers.
