For TBALL – there is no need to buy special equipment before the first practice. Gloves, bats and cleats are not needed indoors initally.  The league operates a FREE equipment exchange to get gently used items from our older players to those just starting out. We will try to bring some items to the first practice and then we will havit it a the GB Field Complex (Snack Shack at 8 Highland Street) starting on Saturday 3/14 from 8am to 12pm.

Additional Info - The Majors and Minors drafts occur on approximately 3/14. The AA and CP assignments are approximately 3/14 and TBall teams are made approximately 3/25.

We practice all together indoors and information will be sent from the League. Once the teams are made, you will get even more info from you team manager regarding the upcoming season!

See you in the gym!

T-Ball & Coach Pitch League FAQs

For those who are new to Green Brook Baseball Club, here are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:What activities does the registration include?

A: First, there are FREE Winter Clinics at an indoor facility in the months of February/March for those that register early. No additional registration is necessary for the clinics. Then, once the teams are chosen, there are some practices before the season starts.  Then there are approximately 12 regular season games.

Q: When is the season?

A: We hope to start games around April 9th but that may be delayed due to a severe winter. We will go to approximately June 5th.

Q: When are the games played?

A: There is usually one game on Saturday morning/afternoon and another game on a weeknight at 6 PM. The day during the week may vary due to weather and scheduling.

Q: My player is 5 years old and has no experience with baseball. Where should she/he start?

A:  T-Ball (Introduction to Baseball) is the best place to start and get ready for the next level. It is a lot of fun!

Q: My player is older than the TBall age but doesn't have a lot of (or any) baseball experience. Can they start in the Coach Pitch League?

A: Absolutely! The Coach Pitch League is an instructional environment where kids can learn fundamentals while playing the games.

Q: Do you need managers/coaches/Team Parent/volunteers?

A: Yes! We are an all-volunteer league with many parents pitching in to make a great season of baseball for the kids. If you would like to help out, please email the President on the "Board" tab.

Q: Who can I contact if I have a question?

A: Reach out to any Board Member  - they are happy to help!
